“What does a Scientist Do?: Inquiry and Innovation” In this program, students in grades three and four will have the opportunity to work with scientists and researchers from the Woods Hole community to learn about how scientists answer questions and solve problems. Each week, a science educator from a Woods Hole Science Partner will visit the school and guide students through a hands-on investigation in a variety of topics to solve an engaging problem. Participating Science Partners are Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute, Waquoit Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Association, and the Marine Biological Laboratory.
