Mindfulness, Featuring Tara Brach's book, Radical Compassion; Learning to Love Yourself and Your World with the Practice of RAIN
It's like a book club and reading the book is optional! Tara Brach PhD, is an internationally known teacher of mindfulness, meditation, emotional healing and spiritual awakening. We will spend each week going over one of the letters in the acronym RAIN (Recognize, Allow, Investigate and Nurture). This mindfulness practice can be done alone or with a partner. It's an opportunity to pause and notice what's showing up for you in real time while the feeling, thought, emotion and/or sensation is there! This class is an opportunity to practice and gain confidence working with RAIN on your own!
