This class is for beginners to yoga, or anyone with physical considerations that may require special modifications.  Although many of the poses are performed while standing as opposed to sitting down on a chair.  Chairs are used as a prop for support, balance and stability.  this method is designed to actively engage all the muscles while protecting the joints from stress.  Breath awareness is an integral aspect of the class.  Over time, this process gradually builds strength, endurance, balance and flexibility in mind, body and spirit.  Please bring a firm yoga mat, yoga block and yoga belt (scarves or ties can be used as a substitutes). This class is taught by Sujata a certified instructor who has taught yoga in the USA and Europe.
